I would like to share a recipe with you that is very popular in Sweden. We call them “chokladbollar” in Swedish. The good thing about this recipe is that you don’t need an oven for making them. A lot of kids make them in Sweden alone, without parents around. For my birthday I got this giant ball of chocolate for breakfast and I almost threw up because it was too big, but a normal sized ball is delicious.
Ingredients: 100 grams of butter 0.5 cups of sugar 3 tablespoons of cocoa 2 cups of oats 2 tablespoons of coffee or water Nib sugar
Materials: 1 mixing bowl 1 large mixing spoon 1 tablespoon 1 measuring cup 1 knife 2 plates
Direction:
1. Make sure you have all the ingredients and material. 2. Wash your hands. 3. Use a knife to cut 100 grams of butter. (It is good if you take out the butter before you start so it is a bit soft.) 4. Mix butter and sugar in the mixing bowl. Use the large mixing spoon. 5. Pour in cocoa oats and coffee or water into the bowl. 6. Mix everything together with the mixing spoon. (I like to mix with my hands. It is easier and more fun.) 7. Bring out two plates. In one of the plates you pour the nib sugar. 8. Now start to roll the mix into 2 cm round balls and roll them in the nib sugar. It should be about 20 balls. 9. When you are finished rolling the balls in the nib sugar put them on the other plate. 10. Put the chocolate balls in the refrigerator for about one hour. 11. Enjoy them on your own or with friends.
I nearly threw up, because of Albert's funny stuff. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA., Albert, you made me nearly throw up!!! That is a very unsensible (I have no idea what that word means) thing to do, to write that you nearly threw up. With that type of speech you could really make someone laugh, choke on their food and then finally and unfortunately (I have no idea what this word means either) throw up, and die, choking on the remains of your undigested food. For that type of unrespect to your classmates, and to people who are reading the blog, you COULD KILL THEM!!! I NEARLY DIED, BECAUSE I CHOKED ON MY FOOD!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT? SEE YOU TOMORROW AT SCHOOL. BYE BYE.
The Herring “In A Coat” My favourite dish is the Herring “In A Coat”. I know that the name of this meal is funny but it’s really tasty! Especially I like herring in this meal and I usually put a lot of herring in this dish. And I also like to put a lot of mayonnaise on and in it.
Ingredients: 1. Fillet of herring 2. Carrot 3. Eggs 4. Onion 5. Beetroot 6. Mayonnaise 7. Salt and ground pepper 8. Potatoes
Materials:
1. A kitchen knife 2. A kitchen board 3. Cooker 4. Fridge 5. Grater 6. Saucepan
Directions:
At first you boil all vegetables (which I have mentioned in the list of ingredients), then you cut potatoes, herring and onions in small pieces and grate carrots, beetroots and eggs on the grater. When you finish everything you can start making the first layer. It consists of herring. The second layer is onion and then salted potato. On the top of it you put carrots, eggs and beetroots. But don’t forget to put a lot of mayonnaise to make it more delicious! And then you serve it cold.
