Compare and Contrast Creation Stories
ReplyDeleteBy: Isabella
Similarities:
The stories were both about people who disobeyed their god. There were two couples and they both got a gift. In one was the magic box and in the other was the garden Eden. Both stories had gods and had evil animals in them. The couples were husband and wife. And at one point of the stories their gods got mad at someone. Like Zeus got mad at Prometheus and God got mad at Adam and Eve.
Differences:
To disobey their god, Adam and Eve had an apple from a tree and in the other story Pandora opened the magic box. The couples were Epimetheus and Pandora. The other one was Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve don’t have very Greek or Roman names. The story of Pandora’s Box didn’t have anybody naked. But in the story of Lost Paradise, at one point Adam and Eve were naked.
Pandora’s Box ad Genesis
ReplyDeleteThese are the things that are the same about both stories. Well there is a male and female couple in both stories and then there is also that the female does a silly mistake as well. There Is also god in the stories.
Same
ReplyDeleteWhat I found different is that in both stories there are 2 women and they both make mistakes. 2 men which were telling their wives to not do something and they both did it. There was a god in both stories but they were from different countries. The stories are both myths but in different places. The stories both had bad endings.
Different
What I found different is that one story had one person hanging from a cliff being picked by eagles, and in the other story that they were naked. One story is Greek and the other story is from the Roman Bible. One story was with a box and the other story was in a beautiful garden god made for Adam and Eve.
Comparing
ReplyDeleteThe difference between Pandora’s box and genesis:
1. Pandora’s box has monsters in it.
2. Genesis has wild life in it.
3. Genesis is green.
4. They have different names.
5.One has a chest.
Similarities
The similarities between Pandora’s box and genesis are:
1. The girls both make big mistakes.
2. There is a man and a girl involved.
Comparing and Contrasting Creation Stories
ReplyDeleteComparing- In the 2 stories there are 2 women who do silly things which gets the gods (which is another thing that is the same) really mad at them. The other same thing is that there are creations for mankind and the stories start out good but then they turn bad. Both books were written by the same author. There is also a punishment.
Contrasting- The different from In the Beginning and Pandora’s Box from Genesis and Paradise Lost are that In 1 book there is 1 man and in another there are 2 men. Also there is a snake in 1 and lots of ugly creatures in another. There are 2 punishments which is 1 were a man got hanged up to a tree and eagles eat him and in the other they die also the stories are mostly about death.
Compare
ReplyDeleteWhat I found out that was the same was that there were two girls that did big problems in the stories. Also god was in the stories. He made a lot of big changes like he made humans and other things. Both stories are myths but some people believe in them.
Contrast
The different in the two stories are that one story is a Greek myths and the other one is a story of the Romans. There were gods in one of the stories and the other one there were humans. The characters have different names.

ReplyDeleteCOMPRE AND CONTRAST CREATION STORIES
ReplyDeleteAt first I would like to tell you about the similarities between these two versions. The similarities are in the end of these two stories, when Pandora and Eve do the things which were forbidden by their Gods. In Greek version Pandora opens the chest which Zeus had forbidden to open. And in the other version Eve eats an apple from the tree which God forbade them to eat apples from. And in the both stories Eve, Adam, Pandora and Epimetheus felt disappointment, jealous and shy.
And now I’ll tell you about the contrast. The differences are that in one version one God created the world and in the other version a lot of Gods made the world.

The differences between the two stories are
ReplyDeleteIn Pandora’s Box every one is a goddess but in Adam and Eve, there is only one god. Then there is Adam and Eve are naked in a garden when in Pandora’s Box everyone wears clotes. Also the names are different. But also in Pandora’s Box the people are more civilized because they have houses.
Things that are the same in both stories:
In both stories there is someone or something luring the person to something bad that they have been forbidden to touch. There is two silly women. Something really bad happens in both of the story for instance Pandora opened the box full of disgusting things which she was forbidden to do and Eve took a bite off the tree god forbidden her and Adam to eat and they ate so god kicked them out.
Similarities between Pandora’s Box and Paradise Lost.
ReplyDeleteBoth stories contain ladies which both make big mistakes. They did not listen to what god say. They did the mistakes, because of their curiosity. Both stories contained a couple, including a man and a woman. The men were very wise and clever, and they did not do any mistakes like women did. Something encouraged the ladies to do the mistakes, in Pandora’s box the squeaky voice encouraged Pandora to open the chest, and in Paradise Lost the serpent encouraged Eve to eat the apple. God punished both Pandora and Eve, and innocent Epimetheus and Adam.
Differences between Pandora’s Box and Paradise Lost.
In Pandora’s box there are spirits. In Paradise Lost there is a lot of wild life. In Pandora's box there are two men, but in Paradise Lost there is only one man. In Pandora's box someone was tied up to a cliff and got pecked by the eagles, but in Paradise Lost that didn't happen.

Compare and Contrast
ReplyDeleteIn the Beginning - Pandora’s Box and Genesis - Paradise Lost
Similar things between the two myths are that the characters are male and female. In both stories there is a married couple and they are told not to do something but the female disobeys. Then something bad happens to them. Before that they live in a world where there are good things all around them and they are always happy and they live for ever. They are both Greek myths and have gods and goddess characters. Both tells you what happens when you break a rule.
The differences between the two myths are that in Paradise Lost, Eve tempts Adam to eat the apple but Pandora opens the box by herself so Epimetheus does not do anything wrong. In Paradise Lost, Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden and its a tree they are told not to eat anything from but in Pandora’s Box they are given a box as a present. There is also a flicker of hope in Pandora’s Box which is a good thing, but nothing like that in Paradise Lost where the Garden of Eden was a waste as it just dies.
Compare and Contrast
ReplyDeleteIn the greek story there is a man who creates everything on earth. He makes humans and Zeus gets angry and makes him suffer forever. Then the silly girl makes all the bad things happen. but she makes hope as well.
LUKE WILKINSON
In the two mithes there is the same plan as the woman mad a mistake and some one made it good again.
