  1. Jason and the Golden Fleece

My name is Achilles and I will tell you about my adventures as an Argonaut…

I am a half god and a war hero so I was the perfect man for Jason. I stepped aboard the Argo and the sea breeze rippled my long, golden hair. All the women looked at me! Jason stepped aboard with 12 other Argonauts and we set sail. We headed for King Phineas’s palace.
When we got there he gave us a mouth-watering feast but then these shadows came hovering us and tried to attack us all! They stole our dinner and made us angry. The Argonauts and Jason fought the Harpies until their feathers could be used for a pillow.

Then, King Phineas told us that the Golden Fleece was in Colchis beyond the Clashing Cliffs. So we set sail for Colchis. The cliffs were petrifying and really high. Hercules and Odysseus and I were pushing our oars to the cliff side and pushing off them so we wouldn’t sink. We finally got to the palace of the island to ask the king if we could take the Golden Fleece. Suddenly, the king threw a handful of dragon teeth on the floor. Then, they turned into soldiers. We sprang into action and fought until all those teeth soldiers fell to the ground!

The king let us through but Jason wanted to get the Golden Fleece himself. So we waited a long time but then, Jason came back with the Golden Fleece on his shoulders and a woman’s hand in his!

Victory for the Argonauts and their leader Jason!

  2. Jason and the Golden Fleece.
There was once a man called Jason who build a ship for himself and asked for some men, and I was one of the men who was given to him. His ship was called Argo, and I was one of the Argonauts. We sailed to the place where Jason ordered and suddenly some harpies attacked us. The harpies bit and scratched us, and one of the harpies bit my arm off. The harpies were killed.
There were clashing cliffs and we barely managed to get past them. No one got hurt luckily. We came to a place and there was an evil king. He threw dragon teeth on the floor, and soldiers grew out of them. We had an enormous battle. One of the soldiers cut my leg off. I was bleeding to death. I managed to just kill 4 soldiers. All the soldiers were assassinated.
Jason told us to wait on the ship, and that he will kill the dragon himself. Some Argonauts carried me to the ship. Jason went to kill the dragon. I was bleeding a lot; I didn’t have an arm and a leg. Just as Jason came with the Golden Fleece and a lady, I could no longer live. I died because I lost too much blood, because I lost an arm and a leg in the battles. I was a hero.

  3. Jason and the Golden Fleece
I’m going to be one of the Argonauts. We went to get the Golden Fleece. Before to go and get the Golden Fleece, we had to meet king Phineas. When we met, we gave him loads of delicious foods but the problem was that the harpies came every time we brought foods harpies stole the foods so Jason killed them. After Jason kill the harpies he asked phineas where to go and phineas told him okay but suddenly he pulled handfuls of sharp white dragon teeth and the teeth became soldiers and Jason kill them so phineas told Jason to go to Clashing Cliffs so we went there and saw a dragon and saw a fleece hanging in the beautiful garden. Also we saw a princess standing next to the garden. So Jason killed the dragon and got the fleece and he married with her and they lived happily ever after.

  5. Hi, my name is Mat and I’m an Argonaut. I will today tell you a story about my adventure with Jason to find the Golden Fleece.
It all started when the army and I went to find the old king Phineas who knew where the Golden Fleece was but we bought him some food. The dreadful Harpies stole his food and then we had to fight the harpies and we won.
We left the island and set for the island of the Golden Fleece. When we arrived at the island there were some huge cliffs which were clashing against each other. Jason told us to go to are oars and when the cliffs opened we used all our strength to fly through the cliffs but when we flew through I flew off and died.

  6. Jason and the Golden Fleece
I was one of the men from Jason’s army. So now I shall tell you the story of how the Argonauts helped Jason to defeat the dragon and get the Golden Fleece.
Jason wanted to prove to his evil brother Pelias that he can defeat the dragon and capture the Golden Fleece. So he needed an army for the long journey and help him defeat whatever comes our way.
He got a ship from the finest shipbuilder in the land. He got the army with me in it and called them the Argonauts. I helped him defeat the harpies, the Clashing cliffs and the Dragon toothed army. But of course I died from the dragon toothed army. They stabbed me in my heart.
But then Jason succeeded and stole the Golden Fleece and king Medias daughter from his land. The king of Thebes was too old to rule this country. He told Jason to take over and rule Thebes. But The princess healed him and he ruled the country again.

I am one of the men that were with Jason. We are called the Argonauts. I am called mike.
First we had to go to this old man Phineas and save him from the evil Harpies. They are half bird, half women. I had to fight one of them face to face. First it swooped down and hit me in the head, I blacked out. When I woke up I seem to have no nose, the Harpies had bitten my nose off. Then I suddenly felt pain in my left leg and saw it wasn’t there anymore! I had lost a leg, but there was still worse. Suddenly one of the harpies held me down on the floor it ripped both my arms off. I head butted the bird but I was dying. I died a few minutes later.

  8. Jason and the Golden Fleece

Hi, I’m Hercules. I am going to tell you about the adventure I had with Jason.

It was a sunny day and I was walking through the market, seeing if I could get some decent fruit when Jason came running up to me and said “Hercules! I need your help to get the Golden Fleece to win the crown back for my father! I need to put together a crew.”
We put together a crew and set sail as the Argonauts, sailing on the great ship Argo. Jason went over to this head, carved and stuck on the front of the ship, the head told Jason
“King Phineas will tell you where. Ask poor, poor Phineas!”
We got to this island were “Phineas” lived and we noticed that he was old and blind. Servants brought loads of food but no sooner had these ugly, woman headed birds swooped down and ate it all.
“The Harpies! Shelter under the table, sirs!" cried King Phineas. “You’ll
    Be safer there.”
But Jason drew his sword and cried, “fight, men, fight!”
And so we did, slashing our swords, I don’t mean to boast but slashed the most . They then flew away and Phineas said “Don’t try to get the golden fleece, think of the tremble!”
    “Ha I don’t tremble!”
We set sail again and went through the clashing cliffs. What a sight! Jason said follow the sea gulls and we would get out ok. And we did! When we got there, Jason presented himself to the king of the island.
    “I must have the gold

  9. Jason and the Golden Fleece, Point of view from one the Argonauts

One day Jason called me to help him kill the dragon that protects the Golden Fleece. When we climbed on Jason’s ship he didn’t know where to start looking for it. Jason got tired and rested his hand on the wooden figurehead. It was carved from a magical Oak tree. Suddenly the figurehead started to speak and it said, "King Phineas will tell you where to start looking for the fleece. Ask poor, poor Phineas!"
When we arrived to Phineas, his servant brought delicious food. But the Harpies came and stole all the food from the table. Jason drew is sword and killed them all. I helped as much as I could. Jason asked king Phineas where to start looking for the Golden Fleece. The king said "The Fleece hangs in the land of Colchis, beyond the Clashing Cliffs."
We sailed to the Cashing Cliffs. But what we didn’t know was that there were two walls of rock, on either side of a narrow strait and we all screamed "We shall be ground to dust!" "No! Watch the sea gulls, men!" cried Jason. "They know when the way ahead is safe, he said. We followed the sea gulls.
The next day Jason presented himself to the king of the new island. Jason told him about the Golden Fleece and it was his destiny to have it. Then the king said that he would show us where it was but the soldiers might stop us. The king then threw out white teeth among us it was the dragon’s teeth. The next second everything became black and I died…

  10. Jason and the Golden Fleece
Hi everyone my name is Argonauts I helped Jason with everything he did. Jason went aboard of his sailing boat and we sailed him to the king called Phineas. Jason saw how thin the king was and he asked what happened the king said that every time he started eating these birds came in. Jason asked the Harpies. Then Jason told us to destroy the harpies and we did. When we destroyed the harpies Jason sat with the king and asked him where he could find the Golden Fleece. After the Clashing cliffs we had to fight the soldiers and won. Now they had to fight the dragon which was garding the Golden Fleece.

  11. Jason and the Golden Fleece

Jason told us Argonauts that we had to get the Golden Fleece so that his father could be freed from prison and King of Thebes. Once we were on the ship called Argo Jason did not know what to do but then like magic the figurehead told him to speak to King Phineas. When we found the King he was being attacked by strange birds called Harpies who were stealing his food. Jason told us to fight and kill the Harpies. First we had to kill the harpies because they were hurting King Phineas. We fought the harpies and killed them by cutting their feather off. They fled. Jason gave the King a plate full of food as he was hungry and asked him where the Golden Fleece was. The King warned us not to try to find it as it was in a dangerous place where there are Clashing Cliffs. But Jason was clever and he showed us how to get through the narrow strait.

Then we came to the island and Jason went to the King there and asked him for the Golden Fleece. The King was nasty and threw loads of white dragon teeth onto the ground which turned into warriors. There were hundreds and hundreds of them with weapons. But Jason told us to fight again and not to be afraid. So we did! It was not easy as there were so many of them and I thought I would be killed as I saw others die. But we won. Then Jason told us to go back to the ship and he went to get the fleece. The next thing I saw was black smoke and Jason running towards us with the fleece around his shoulders. It was so shiny that I was amazed. And there was a girl with Jason. We had done it!

Jason and all of the Argonauts including me went through the clashing cliffs and we went to the king of that kindom and then finally for the Golden Fleece Jason went and killed the Dragon, married a girl that was a daughter of the king of that island and all of us went back home and Jason's father became the young king and his brother never woke up again. 14. Jason and the Golden Fleece
Hi I am Alex one of the Argonauts who helped Jason to save his dad. So we sailed to King Phineas’s kingdom where we found that Phineas was starving as the Harpies were attacking him every time he was about to eat. We helped him gain control over the harpies and put them in a cage. Phineas told us where the Golden Fleece was so we sailed off to get the golden fleece. When we got there, we started looking for it but we came across bad people. We fought for a while. Soon, their leader joined in and killed about 10 of our people until he came towards me and gave a mighty strike. I thought that was my final blow.
